Here we are again...

So, here we are back again. It only seems like last year I was in Africa driving around the desert in an old VW Golf with no spare.

My big dreams are as follows:
1. Scooter to Moscow
2. Build a pleasure submarine
3. Sail around the world
4. Build a stone cottage in New Zealand

Frankly, in terms of achievable goals, this list sucks. So, when it came about that I might actually be able to do one, I was happy as a clam. Clams have big smiley mouths = happy.

Nic and I are planning our big trip home; one way mind you. This isn't some flighty decision, this is the real deal. We are heading home for good. It is a one-way no-going-back done-deal lots-of-hyphens type thing and it is really weird.

I said to Nic “What about...”, but she was way ahead of me. She simply said “I wondered when you were going to say this”. And so... the long held dream of scootering to Moscow is to be attempted. One word – Awesome.
